The Holland Code Method
We used The Holland Code as the foundation of our quiz methodology. Made up of six different personality types, the Holland Code has been beneficial in helping people determine their career aspirations for decades. These personality types include:

1. Realistic - Realistic types generally like to work with things more than with people. They are often described as genuine, sensible, practical, natural, thrifty, modest, persistent, and honest

2. Investigative - Investigative types typically like to work with ideas more than with people or things. They are usually described as logical, curious, exact, intellectual, cautious, independent, quiet, and modest.

3. Artistic - Artistic types usually like to work with ideas more than with things. They are usually described as open, creative, independent, emotional, impulsive, and original.

4. Social - Social types typically like to work with people more than with things. They are often described as helpful, understanding, responsible, warm, cooperative, convincing, friendly, kind, generous, and patient.

5. Enterprising - Enterprising types generally like to work with people and ideas more than with things. They are usually described as outgoing, adventurous, energetic, optimistic, sociable, and self-confident.

6. Conventional types generally like to work with papers and numbers. They are typically described as practical, careful, thrifty, efficient, orderly, and persistent.

Having a better understanding of yourself and what you prefer makes it easier to recognize the types of careers that will interest you in the future.

How It Works

Once your personality type is determined, it’s easier to find the careers best suited to your own personal strengths and interests.
