Description:

This is a Bay Area non-profit international theatre organization which brings the best of South Asian stories to universal audiences and provides a platform for nurturing performing arts talent. We seek to promote diversity and professional growth in local artists through educational programs, thought-provoking events, and onstage representation. We are looking for an Asset Management intern to join our team for the summer.

Applicants should have some understanding of social media outreach and project management work in an organization. Applicants should be organized and committed. Interest in theatre and film welcome! Asset Management includes a combination of operations and project management plus social media outreach.

The Digital Asset Intern will be involved in (non-technical) database management, learn advanced searching techniques, gain insight into marketing content and storytelling.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

The Digital Asset Management Intern will review, evaluate, categorize, tag, and track assets across multiple file types including photos, graphics, video and sound files.

Further, they will:

- Properly tag and assign metadata (information about the content) to assets

- Review and perform quality control (QC) on existing descriptions and tags

- Archive and organize assets

- Help identify and curate assets for upcoming marketing campaigns

- Communicate content issues with supervisor

Requirements:

- Must be detail oriented.

- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Must possess strong written skills, interpersonal skills and a strong team player.

*Duration: 10 -12 weeks

*Qualification: High School Student (Incoming 9th - 12th grader)
