Business Analyst Internship

We are seeking motivated business analyst interns who will participate in sales, legal, financials and supply chain related work. The interns will assist in taking meeting notes, writing reports, conducting research, analyzing data, and making recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency. This will be a valuable experience for any student pursuing a career in business analytics or information systems. The main premise of this internship will be to analyze business goals, objectives, and needs.

• Review business requirement documents, especially in the field of Sales Opportunity Management, Quoting, Contracts, Financials, and Supply Chain 
• Coordinate and assist the project owner in planning and designing business processes and make recommendations for improvement
• Perform research and analysis in support of operations
• Assist in resolving business issues using data analysis
• Assist in estimating benefits of multiple actions and provide recommendations for the most effective business solution
• Help launch new initiatives
• May perform additional business related projects upon request

Required Skills: Data Analysis, MS Excel, Data Interpretation, Some experience with analysis tools such as SPSS, SAS, R, or Python

Stipend: Unpaid. Officers of the company will be happy to provide references, recommendations, and networking connections as needed.

Location: Remote

Duration: 10-12 weeks. Tentative start date: June 7 

Time: 20-35 hrs per week during summer
