Responsibilities

  • 70%-30% of the weekly task distribution - the campaign's success hinges on understanding of our voters. Our Fellowship program (is a campaign) that needs to engage with the residents and neighbors of our congressional district, discussing their priorities, bringing their perspectives back to the campaign, while explaining how Rishi’s congressional agenda aligns with their aspirations - the most effective way to engage is CANVASSING (door-to-door, in-person) - this is the 70% of the weekly tasks.
  • Every Fellow is expected to engage with our neighbors - go canvassing. For example - if you live in the East Bay, the nearest city you will canvass is either Menlo Park or Palo Alto. Cities in our congressional district include: San Jose, Campbell, Los Gatos, Los Altos, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Menlo Park, Pacifica and others.
  • In addition to canvassing, interns are requested to do specific emailing and texting.
Interns will be trained for each aspect of the campaign.30% of the weekly task would be in the area of interest (focused on the campaign needs): Communications, Media Art (graphics design and video), and Social Media
